Phosphorus

Useful for bleeding wounds, after castration-horses, bleeding from any source.

This is a very important remedy and has proven its worth in the great variety of conditions met with in veterinary practice. Among  these may be mentioned pneumonia of rapid onset in all species. Progressive retinal atrophy in the dog: Hepatitis and periostitis: cataract and glaucoma. In gastritis of dogs and cats a guiding symptom is vomiting of stomach contents as soon as they become warm, shortly after ingestion Superficial small hemorrhages also respond.
