Mercurius Corrosivus (Merc Cor)
Useful for eye inflammations accompanied with lots of tearing, late stage pink eye in cattle, also skin lesions with lots of weeping, moist
This again is a very frequently indicated remedy, especially in small animals practice, e.g. in chronic nephritis and dysenteric states. Cat ‘flu has responded well to its use. Although it has no specific action on the skin it has been found in practice to be of great benefit in wet eczema when this occurs as part of ta constitutional breakdown and in this connection chronic otitis externa (a condition that causes inflammation (redness and swelling) of the external ear canal, which is the tube between the outer ear and eardrum). is also greatly benefited.
