Many mares have discomfort around the times of their cycles. This translates into behavior problems that can lead to poor performance and difficulty riding. Regulate has proven to be excellent for many of these mares, changing some of the hormonal swings and mellowing out the behavioral problems.
Some mares, especially very young or those in poor condition, can experience more problems when coming into season, which usually occurs during the first 3 to 7 days of their 21 day cycle. Early Spring can also make them more uncomfortable and do watch for changes around the yard such as youngstock or new geldings. If problems are completely out of character, then do speak to your vet. Can take up to a month for beneficial results to be seen, possibly longer depending on where in her cycle it was first started.
A more general support would be our Calm & Collected range, but we would advise against feeding these two supplements together or giving additional valerian.
This supplement can also be used for "riggy" geldings and even stallions if required, but please contact us for further details.

This description accounts for its other names - Chaste Tree Berry or Monks Pepper, the herb acquired this name in Medieval times when it was used in the monasteries as a condiment for calming the ardour of the young novices!!
