CoQ10

An important antioxidant for the cardiovascular system. Has also been used as one of my favorite supplements to help laminitic horses. 

In general doses as high as 400-600mg per day are used for acute cases, with a weekly reduction in dose as the horse improves
CoEnzyme Q10 is also a useful antioxidant for eye conditions in the lower dose range of 100-200mg. Horses with uveitis and eye inflammation can benefit from the use of it.
Always feed this dry form with an oil high in Omega 3, such as Flax or Hemp oil. Use at least 1 tbsp of oil with each feeding. Other forms of Coenzyme Q10 are available in oil bases, but are often less palatable, while those in bulk are easily oxidized, and do not stay effective
