horse-1446690_640Dr Harman practices entirely from a holistic perspective, taking everything about you animal into consideration, from food, lifestyle, supplements, goals and current complaints or diseases. Holistic medicine also means understanding conventional medicine, surgery and diagnostics, and where they fit into the picture. She will work with your conventional veterinarians as needed.

At Harmany Equine, we provide a range of alternative and complementary services, including acupuncture, chiropractic, homeopathy, western and Chinese herbal medicine, nutritional counseling, fitness advice, rehabilitation advice and treatments for all species: horses, dogs and a few cats. If conventional medications are needed as part of the holistic plan, we do have a pharmacy online.

For horses only, we will collect blood for diagnostic purposes and to check vaccine titers for anyone who wishes. For small animals, we do not have a facility with technicians to assist in blood drawing so we will refer those patients to local veterinarians and collaborate about the results.

We do not provide conventional veterinary care, including, but not limited to: radiology, diagnostic imaging, surgery, lameness work-ups, acute infectious diseases or in-house hospital care. If you have an emergency, please call your regular veterinarian or local emergency clinic.
